Company History: |
Cold Light Inc was founded in 1999 to supply the motion picture industry with cutting edge lighting technology, creating visual effects. In 2000, the company started using Visual Lighting Technologies fiber optic systems. Since then, Cold Light has added to the LED lighting product lines it uses — most recently partnering with J&J Electronics, manufacturer of ColorGlo LED lighting, including high profile projects for CTV e-talk play list and Comedy Now. Major 2006 projects are for MTV Canada, TSN Olympic set, TSN World Cup Set, The NHL Awards, TV series Eureka for NBC, Battlestar Galactica, Masters of Science Fiction TV series.

Cold Light works with architects, engineers, interior designers, production designers and general contractors, to help them achieve their specialized lighting requirements. Our design vision and expertise in fiber optics and LED technologies enables us to achieve the desired illumination requirement – combining aesthetics, efficiencies and budget considerations. Both artistically oriented and cost competitive, we develop mock-up demonstrations to prove the effectiveness and value added sustainability of projects.
As Cold Light has flourished at meeting our clients’ objectives, our company has expanded its expertise into a wide range of architectural and entertainment lighting projects.

About our Staff |
| Paul Cunningham, founder, has worked on over 100 major projects -- from live television, industrial trade shows, theatrical technical direction, commerical production, motion picture and television production lighting. Ryan Dennet's experience in large scale construction and industrial projects is a great asset. Adrian Goldberg’s 30+ years in lighting design combined with his Pyrotechnics experience makes him one of the best lighting consultants. Jeffrey O’Brien is part of a select group of lighting professionals that introduced a style to illuminate people along with art and architecture. Mick Rossouw, marketing director, is a valued part of the Cold Light team. |

| As LED and fiber optics technologies evolve, Cold Light will integrate both proven, cost effective products and the latest advancements into system solutions. Our goal is to concentrate and focus on special requirements, working with architects, engineers, interior designers, production designers and general contractors, to help them achieve their specialized lighting criteria using Fiber Optics and LED'S. functional, creative, and energy efficient lighting possibilities are now virtually endless with fiber optic and LED lighting. |
